Gin Blossoms

So apparently, the Gin Blossoms are going to be performing on Tuesday at the New Mexico State Fair.  I might go... it's so close and the cost is just admission to the fair -- $9.  Not bad!!  =)

Eve 6

So a few of us got to check out Eve 6 live in concert last Friday.  They were performing for free on base for this year's Summer Bash.  Last year, I performed there because I had gotten third place at Kirtland Idol, and the headlining act or whatever were The Drifters.  Upgrade for Summer Bash this year, downgrade for Eve 6?  Anyhow, they had broken up a while back but got back together a few years ago (replacing the guitarist).  They performed a couple new songs, some songs I wasn't familiar with, and the three songs of theirs I know --- "The Promise," "Here's To The Night," and "Inside Out."  I was surprised they left the cuss words in "The Promise" because the event was sort of family oriented.  They were really good live though!  And it was cool when they ended with "Inside Out" because it started to rain like crazy and everyone was just having a good time singing along and jumping up and down in the rain.  I forgot my camera though.  =(  Awesome free concert though!!!

The Weather Outside is Frightful

It's raining out and my windshield wipers sucked as I was driving home last night (ha!  cause today is Tuesday and not Monday anymore).  I should really get on that and get new blades.  So lazy though.  So lazy with life and work in general nowadays.  But with rain comes snow and with snow comes potential for snowboarding.  That'll be good, no?  Maybe.

I was talking with Suzie yesterday about how apathetic I am about stuff.  I sort of am.  I never let on either, do I?  She mentioned that she would've never known that stuff was going on with me back when she was visiting.  Why am I like this?  ... I dunno.  I've always sort of been this way even in high school (ask Suzie, she used to tell me this all the time).  But I think I'm a little bit better since then -- sharing my emotions more and what not.  Meh.

my poor bb.

Alas, I think my hard drive is done for.  All 250GB of music/picture/TV goodness... what am I going to do with myself?  Hopefully Suzie will let me recopy all my songs back!  And then as for TV... I guess this could force me to prune out a lot of shows that I've been sitting on.  I shudder at such a thought.  Ay me.
